Reaching Higher with Spirit.
A Workshop with Natalie Walker, The Spirit Lady.
Natalie Walker, the well-known psychic medium led this workshop held at the home of Gillian Holland; so, for me, on a personal level, I felt safe and secure having previously attended Gillian’s own workshop in her calm and beautiful surroundings.
I looked forward to getting started.
Natalie began the workshop by introducing herself, and, considering her fame (in her own right) and through her work with Tony Stockwell, in his Studio, on Stage, and appearing in Psyche Eyes, plus having her own workshop, she is a lovely person, has a lovely personality, and a good sense of humour, which she used on and off all day.
Some of those present were know to me, others not, but everyone ‘mixed and matched’ very well, soon sending good energies, and lots of love and warmth around the room.
Natalie carried out many exercises, while listening, talking, teaching and guiding us throughout the day; bringing out our confidence and abilities’.
At the start of our first exercise she used the term ‘Blend with Spirit’. This very much registered with me, for as Natalie explained - often people use other terms which almost refer to Spirit coming into us, giving the impression of somehow us getting ‘taken over’ by Spirit. In other words, being possessed is some people’s false ideas of the situation, which of-course is not the case at all!
• ‘Blending’ with Spirit was our first exercise.
To me this was about allowing your sub-conscious mind to lead in blending with Spirit, rather than allowing your conscious mind to obstruct this achievement.
• Focusing - so as we could feel Spirit blend with us and not allowing ourselves to be distracted. Now, I understood Natalie’s explanation as to how - by being calm, content and in ONE (totally connected to Spirit) much comes into our ‘Being’.
I was shocked at myself, at being the Medium I had become. In being able to pass messages and information onto others, being capable of meeting Mine and Others’ Spirit Guides, Lost Relatives, Friends, and merely ‘Being’ what I was in that space and time. Natalie’s reference to us as Mediums was a bonus in itself to my thinking; for I find it most difficult to see myself as a Medium, even when I showed this to be true of myself to the my recipients of the day.
It’s a confusing scenario for me, but I learnt and am still learning to trust in myself, in other liked-minded people around me, and to know that Spirit will show me the way, tell me what to say, which words to use, and how to express it. It will all just arrive!
‘Reaching Higher with Spirit’ was the title of this workshop and that’s exactly where we reached, HIGHER.
Part of the session was assigned to giving an ‘address’. I can honestly say, ‘Mine came from within’.
As, with my last workshop I was amazed as to how all present were ‘united’. The fact that we were all at different levels of development seemed irrelevant, for we all shared our experiences, knowledge, and know-how.; and this was the source of my address – sharing.
I hope Gillian won’t mind me quoting her here, as she said, “I loved your address, because you said it with such conviction and spirit”. That’s why I say it truly came from within, from my heart, in fact I ended the address by saying, "That came from Spirit, and not from me"; for that is how I felt.
Once again I went home feeling inspired, calm, humbled and just really good!
