An Open Letter To Cancer For November 2020
Dear Cancer,
I hope you are all keeping safe and staying well. I know many of you feel like your life is on “pause” and the anxiety might be getting you down. But this situation isn't going to last forever so please try to lift your spirits. Cancer is a very sensitive and affectionate sign. This makes you wonderful to know. Indeed, that's one of the reasons why you are held in such high esteem. But it can make life difficult because you are more responsive to “atmosphere” than other people. Emotions which tug at your heart strings go unnoticed by other zodiac signs. But would you really have it any other way?
I believe you are an exceptional person, Cancer, because you stand for all the things that make our world a better place: compassion, tolerance, tenderness. The world and society needs each one of you. Without you and your input every family, street, town and city would be diminished. Therefore, I urge you to be proud of yourself and your emotional sensitivity. Even if it's a bit painful every now and again. But enough of the present. Let's turn our attention to the future and try to read the alphabet of the stars.
2nd. To 4th. November 2020:
Some changes to family values are indicated. It's potentially all for the best and may indicate that some errant behaviour is renounced; apologies are expressed, or, someone returns to the fold. Covid-19 restrictions allowing, this might be an auspicious time to enjoying family time and catch up on old gossip. Nostalgic recollections wet a few eyes but engender many more belly-laughs. An appropriate time to savour the past and walk down memory lane in the company of a close friend. It could become a tiring few days but you wouldn't wish them away for the world.
5th. November 2020:
Siblings, children or grandchildren make the day memorable. Students have something to celebrate and spend the day huddled over their computers and mobile phones.
6th. November 2020:
Give yourself a treat and test your culinary skills in the kitchen. Romance might link you to someone with naval/sailing experience. Perhaps time will be spent on a canal boat, or, planning a holiday that combines inland waterways and other recreational pursuits. In addition, literary buffs may occupy their free time dusting down their bookshelves and re-reading Tales of the River Bank and Jamaica Inn.
7th. November 2020:
Home life and family friendly activities dominate you time and attention. Someone is in a boisterous mood and tests everyone's patience almost to breaking point. To your amazement and pride you discover that a family member has a secret gift for music, poetry, composing or playing a musical instrument. Someone may ask you to run an errand, but under the current circumstances it may not be wise. A leaking tap or shower unit calls for attention.
8th. November 2020:
A potentially wonderful day filled with happiness and goodwill. Some event brings back memories of Saturday Matinée at the pictures; Vaudeville or the Old Time Music Hall. Regrettably, you may unwillingly incur some expense.
9th. November 2020:
It's your day to grab the spotlight. An auspicious day to excel in some undertaking which requires athletic abilities and loads of energy. However, if you have a date afterwards all doesn't go to plan. So think ahead prepare a contingency plan or plausible excuse.
10th. November 2020:
The majority of Cancer born will be firing on all cylinders today. You triumph in some intellectual undertaking or test of skill. Indeed, on a day like today almost nothing is impossible or beyond your attainment.
11th. November 2020: Home ownership, shared finances or getting a mortgage are all matters which may focus your attention, or, require the composition of a phone call or text message. If you have been living a lifestyle which resembles that of a medieval celibate monk or nun, tonight the night you break the habit!!
12th November 2020: Auspicious day for debating your long term plans with your partner, or, seeking career advice.
13th. To 15th. November 2020:
Excellent and active period to advance your life and reputation. You are at your charming best and turn many heads. However, a temporary cash flow problem may prevent the purchase of one really expensive gift. Furthermore, circumstances may require you to don a disguise or move from one place to another incognito. A minority of committed individuals may choose to explore the wilder side of life. If you do remember to keep your close friends close and potential enemies even closer still. Vital.
16th. November 2020: Most likely a quiet day to relax and contemplate the meaning of life. However, a surprise communication from someone far afield may set your heart aflutter.
20th to 22nd November 2020:
Your active involvement is called for in issues related to joint finances; insurance; inheritance or to make financial provision for your children and their future welfare. Numerous Cancer looking to diversify their business activities may become involved in some way in art, music and the entertainment industry. A forward thinking move may involve you joining a local community radio station as a presenter or sponsoring a program. Additionally, something stimulates your interest in Spiritualism or reincarnation.
25th November 2020:
A change in your personal situation may stimulate your authoritarian instincts in a work place environment. Perhaps you feel that some safety issues need addressing and you take the appropriate action (including whistle-blowing) to get things done. Indeed, you may receive news of your imminent promotion. This recognition of your contribution to team success translates into the supervision of others. Your career might be gaining speed. Are you ready for take-off ?
If you become actively involved in some form of creative self-expression this might lead to opportunities to expand your social circle or romantic activities. Your experience and knowledge is required to help school children in some way. Please avoid over-modesty and just for once engage in a little verbose self publicity. It will be worth it in the long run.
29th. To 30th. November 2020:
You are doing well. Give yourself a pat on the back and keep on keeping on. Nothing can hold you back. Cancer born are much tougher than they look. “Invincible” is a word that springs to mind.
