Many people tend to associate the Tower Card with negativity and it’s true that its influence can shake some to the core. This perceive negativity, however, is a gift in disguise. The Tower speaks of energies or situations that will break away the illusion of what it seems so we can really see what it is. In its ultimate form, the Tower is akin to Enlightment, the ripping the fabric of Maya and acquire a state of Buddha-hood. In a more mundane situation, the Tower refers to an “Aha!” moment: one of those instance when we finally see the solution to a problem; go beyond the distractions to fully a situation; or realize our mistake and grasp a truth. And over-size ego closes much of the communication with the Divine, with our guides and ethereal helpers. So in this case, the card is asking us to become the lightning bolt and blow away the pride, the arrogance, and humbly open ourselves to that which is greater than our ego. Only in this state of surrender can we enter the greatness of the Divine and realized our Oneness with it and all there is…
