How to encourage people to try energy healing?
As a Reiki Master, trained in the Mikao Usui lineage with the knowledge that Reiki works and can help people. I am sad and frustrated when people won’t try Reiki. Reiki is worth trying for any type of health problem. It has no contra indications. It is safe and gentle, and is not a manipulative procedure. The practitioner gently places their hands on the head, arms, legs, and other non intrusive places of the person receiving Reiki. But if someone doesn’t want this, Reiki can be conducted without touching. In fact there are many different ways that Reiki energy can be sent to a person in need.
What are the reasons that people don’t try energy healing, Reiki or spiritual healing? What are the reasons people haven’t tried to obtain healing from one of these sources? The question is very perplexing to me. Not only is it frustrating that I know I could be helping more people, but knowing that hospitals and surgeries are overflowing, and that they could be reduced by people going to energy healers.
One reason is that the public has been told many times that scientific evidence is needed for energy healing to be believed. But when there are experiments conducted, scientists design experiments, energy healers take part in them, and then when they are reviewed, people say the experiments were not well designed. People say the experiment don’t prove that energy healing works. Energy healing practitioners don’t design experiments they take part in them in good faith. And as well, reviews have been done on research about alternative therapies, and they are all lumped together as if they are all the same, and they are not all the same. It is not logically possible, or scientifically reasonable to analyse various experiments for different alternative therapies by lumping them all together. You could analyse various experiments for each alternative therapy individually. I would be interested in taking part in experiments myself about Reiki. I don’t know who to contact about this. But if I manage to find out, then I will email them and see if it would be possible.
Another issue with the experiments for energy healing, Reiki, spiritual healing and meditation healing is that it will depend on the ability of those taking part in the experiments. As with anything, ability matters, and how much ability a healer, or Reiki Master has in an experiment will directly affect the results. And you don’t have to have years of experience to be a good healer, or a good Reiki Master, even though some people believe that years of experience matter. When it comes to Reiki or other forms of energy healing, a large part of how well you can do this, comes from within, it comes from the person’s honesty, that they are doing it with integrity. Also, if they have been on a good training course too, or with spiritual healing perhaps some people have an ability that they found out about without going on a course.
This year, I have given my Reiki business card to people who have health problems and some of them haven’t contacted me for a Reiki session. That is such a shame. And it is not as if they would have had to spend a lot to try it. One lady, who I talked to had recently been diagnosed with cancer, and she said she wasn’t interested in trying Reiki. She said that she was having chemotherapy, and I told her that Reiki can be given along side medical treatments. And that doing Reiki is natural, Reiki is using a natural energy, life energy. I feel sad for her, and sad that there are so many people in hospitals, and ill in their own homes who I have been unable to reach. I hope that in the future, more and more people will decide to try using their own life energy to help themselves, and to allow Master Reiki practitioners to try and help them using life energy.
Mikao Usui found out how to connect to his own natural healing energy, and has passed on the way for everyone to connect to their own natural energy, and to use this energy and the energy around us, and spiritual energy to help others by sending it to them. Reiki means life energy. I do wonder if sometimes people could be put of by the word Reiki, and perhaps I need to explain more about it being life energy, first and foremost. Life energy is within us all and it is all around us. Every time you think, you are using and initiating life energy within you. So think about healing your own health. Think about being healthy, and happy. Think about caring for yourself, and others. Think about your health problems alleviating, becoming less painful. Use your thoughts to help yourself.
I had a friend who died of cancer several years ago. I wish I had known about all this then and that we can use life energy to help other people. I could have tried to help her. She would not have said no. And maybe if I had tried, she would still be here now, and I could ask her advice and discuss things with her. The use of life energy by Reiki practitioners has become a lot more popular in recent years. However, there are still a lot of people with health problems who have not contacted a Reiki practitioner to find out if they could be helped. What will it take for there to be a monumental change in society where everyone uses their own life energy for their health, and also contacts a Master Life Energy practitioner to try and help them?
